Email and Slack

Hear about failures without watching: email, Slack, or one email for one run.

Email#

On by default, for a run that fails, is blocked or is inconclusive:

• A run you started from the web app emails you, with what was seen and an Open run button.
• A run nobody started by hand (from CI, the API, an AI agent or a schedule) emails the workspace's owners and admins.

In Integrations → Email you can turn either off, email every failure to the owners and admins, and also email passed runs. Runs that did not finish because of a problem on our side are not emailed.

One run#

On a running test, tick Email me the result. Anyone in the workspace can, viewers too.

Slack#

Integrations → Slack → Connect: paste an incoming webhook address (Slack → your app → Incoming Webhooks) and the channel's name. We post "Testsy is connected" to check it. Failures are posted with what was seen and a link to the proof; tick Also post passed runs for every result. Owners and admins connect integrations.
